New Year
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's 2012 who is excited?!?! I have so many things I want to do this year. I made a resolution and everything. But didn't last year go by fast I remember everything from last year. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOPE YOUR NEW YEAR WILL BE AS GREAT AS MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Halloween
Halloween is the best day ever !! Do you like Halloween too? You have the candy, the scary movies, and of course monsters.My favorite candies are M & M's, Kit Kats and Snickers. I love chocolate. I wish all everyone gave out my favorite candy. I would be in heaven. I don't like anything with gummie bears because they remind me of gummie bears vitamins I used to take.
Halloween is a lot of fun but it can also be dangerous and there are some ways to have safe fun. Some saftey tips include trick or treating in your neighborhood with people you know. Also, you should go in a group with friends. Finally, make sure you check your candy with an adult or go through it yourself to make sure its ok (funny smells, open wrappers).
I especially like that scarey movies come to the theater around this time of year. I like R.L. Stine's Goosebumps, Poltergeist and The Lost Boys. The music makes the movie really frightening. There are some funny parts too. But not many. I guess I like being scared!

Cyberbullying
Do you know what cyberbulling is? Cyberbullying refers to when someone is using written technology to talk about someone else in a negative way. This mostly happens with pre-teens and teens. If this happens to someone and the person who is bullying them is 18 or older, it is not cyberbullying, it is then harrassment.
Some examples of cyberbullying are: email, where cyberbullying mostly happens. The use of social media like Facebook and Twitter. Also, texting is often used as a way of cyberbullying. Private pictures can be sent to people that you don't even know. It can be very hurtful to the one that is being bullied and sometimes people committ suicide because of the bullying.
Cyberbullying can be prevented by people telling an adult that you trust if someone is bothering you. Young people should think about the words that they are about to text or put on Facebook. If we take the time to think about if our words are mean and hurtful then we can prevent doing harm to someone.
If you are being bullied, you should talk to someone in your school or your parents. Ignoring messages may work for a while but its good to still tell an adult and if you get messages on Facebook, you can print them out and take them to the principal. You can talk to a counselor or social worker at your school. You can give Facebook and Twitter a rest for a while and you can think before you send any private pictures out over the Internet or media because those pictures are out there for anybody to see.
My personal opinion is that no one should be cyberbulling.It can really hurt somebody and can lead to something you didn't expect. Always think before you type. You never know what that person could do or what they can do to you.

About Me
I think I'm a pretty cool person! I'm sure you are too. What are some of your favorite things about yourself? Well, some things about me are...I love pizza. I like to go roller skatnig and ice skating. My favorite movie is Lion King. My favorite holidays are Halloween and Christmas.I love peace signs. And my favorite thing to do is dance
New Movies
Do you like movies? I do. I have so much fun watching movies and then I like to talk about what happen in the movie afterward. Some new movies in theaters now are Transformers 3, Contagion, Reel Steel and The Lion King.I haven't seen Reel Steel yet but I'm going to. I thought Contagion was a little slow and sad. For example, almost 60 people died in the first 8 minutes!!!!!! It was slow because it kept repeating the same thing over and over again. I felt like there wasn't much talking and the characters were not that interesting. I would not recommend this movie.
The Lion King is my favorite movie ever! I love this movie because its one that mother said I used to watch over and over again and I never got tired of it. I loved it then and I love it now. I like this movie because of the humor , the relationship between Simba and his father and one of my favorite characters in the movie is Scar. He was so mean and scary!
